Every track on this page is written by a Japanese game composer with 15 years in game audio, 11 of them inside a game studio. All files are free mp3 downloads and can be used in commercial and personal work — indie games, videos, streams and apps — as long as you credit Music & SFX by illmatic studio or this site’s URL somewhere in your project.
Genres include cinematic and orchestral, Japanese traditional, horror, mystery and detective, battle themes, electronica and calm everyday scenes. Browse by category from the menu, or preview each track on its own page before you download it.
Would you rather not display a credit at all? The pixiv FANBOX “Commercial Use Free” plan (500 JPY per month) lifts that requirement for anything you create while you are subscribed.
